WEC Aims and Objectives

1) To be the national and international representative body of Welsh Equestrianism.

2) To act as a consultative and advisory body on behalf of Welsh Equestrianism, to its member organisations and to outside agencies.

3) To develop and co-ordinate the implementation of strategies for Welsh Equestrianism.

4) To represent member organisations on matters of common interest.

5) To promote equine welfare in Welsh Equestrianism.

6) To further the development of ethnic, cultural and social inclusion in equestrian activities.

7) To promote, improve, foster, encourage and develop equestrian facilities, education and training, activities and initiatives in Wales.

8) To maximise the potential of equestrianism in Wales, and to increase participation for all age groups, disabled or able bodied, in all areas of equestrian sporting and recreational activity.

9) To carry on business and initiatives which can, in the opinion of WEC, be advantageously carried on by WEC in connection with its core objectives.
